I took a photo of these ducks at Hamilton Creek in Burnet, Texas. The texture in the feathers juxtaposed with the ripples in the water gives the composition life. My good friend who has a fondness for wild ducks tells me that the two males are actually “courting” the female. So maybe not realllllly friends.
