Instructions for your Taters B’Done Bag:

For Microwave use with a turntable.  Cleaning Instructions: The bag is 100% Cotton.  Machine wash - delicate in cold water and hang to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener to ensure maximum absorption. Turn the bag inside out to wash.

Microwave Potatoes:

Wash and pat dry up to 4 potatoes.  No need to poke holes in the potatoes. Put opening on the bottom; it helps to keep the moisture in. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on high. Push down on the potatoes to check for the firmness. If the potatoes seem too hard still, cook them for another 2 minutes. You can also use a toothpick, knife or fork to check to see if the potato is cooked   Remove with a hot pad.  Let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Microwave Fresh or Frozen Corn:

For Fresh Corn, leave the shuck on and put in the bag. Cook 3 minutes per Cob.  Cut the stalk end when done and squeeze the corn cob out of the shuck.  No more strings and hair on your corn.   For Frozen Corn, wrap the cob in a paper towel. Put opening on the bottom; it helps to keep the moisture in.  Cook 3 ½ minutes or until soft.  Let stand for 2 minutes before eating.

Microwave Tortillas: Corn or Flour.  You can cook up to 12 tortillas at a time. Put opening on the bottom; it helps to keep the moisture in. Cook 20-30 seconds.  You can serve in your Tater B’Done bag.

Tamales:  Wrap tamales in a paper towel & place on a paper plate in the bag for 20-30 seconds. Put opening on the bottom; it helps to keep the moisture in.

Microwave Hot Rolls-Pastry:  Cook in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, serve in the bag.

Please use this bag as instructed.  Never leave your bag unattended while using the bag to cook.  Bag must be able to rotate safely or it may get stuck against the side of your microwave and scorch or even burn the fabric.  Our instructions do not imply the safety of our bags, as we cannot test with every microwave.  In other words use the bag at your own risk.
